A large format action painting in the school yard, which will be created on site by painter and graphic artist Jan Pražan, together with those interested in the morning art workshops.
Bio
Jan Pražan:
I am a painter, graphic artist.
For me, creation is a lifelong process of learning about the surrounding and inner world.
In terms of content, I have long been engaged in topics related to the perception of the natural, material, and spiritual world, on a close and distant level. I relate to my surroundings, favorite places in the landscape, garden, my loved ones, but also to larger cosmological wholes.
The supportive and healing qualities of creativity, along with spending time in nature, led me to study ecoart therapy at the Ekoart Institute under the guidance of Jana Merhautová, and I am currently in my fourth year.
For several years now, I have been trying to pass on the acquired knowledge and skills, mainly within school groups, in the form of art meetings or creative learning. For me, art and creation are a very supportive and functional way to absorb the curriculum in an experiential way, to harmonize relationships in the group or to relax and deepen the self-confidence of each student.
