Paella + discussion

Finally, under the tempting pretext of cooking and eating paella together, we invite you to a joint discussion. You can come by anytime during the morning to cut, mix, season and flavour. We will then eat the joint work to the last bits in lively discussions. Naturally, we are interested in what you think of the entire festival, what experiences you take away and what you would do differently. Zero point is only taking place in this format for the second year and if it is to develop healthily, we need to reflect on its form together with you – the festival audience. We see this discussion as a safe space for co-creating future forms of the festival so that it corresponds to the ideas of the teenage audience, to whom it is trying to speak through its program. Come and share your impressions and comments, we will be happy to do so!

10–13 we cook paella, 13–15 we eat paella and discuss.

The facilitated discussion will be led by Ilona Havlíčková and Petra Kultová from the Center for Artistic Activities in Hradec Králové. Both lecturers are dedicated to connecting education and artistic dialogue.

Ilona Havlíčková is a university teacher and at CUA she is mainly responsible for the development of creative learning in secondary and primary schools or courses for teachers. Her goal is that creative learning, which consists of connecting experiential learning and artistic thinking with education, should not only bring children new experiences, but also help them discover their strengths, strengthen internal motivation and strengthen social ties.

At CUA, Petra Kultová prepares and coordinates creative learning projects in primary and secondary schools. She also participates in the preparation of traveling Incubators or the KreatFest festival of creativity and creative learning. She strives to ensure that methods of experiential learning and connecting artistic thinking with education penetrate the peripheries of the region, where they help children and young people improve their self-concept and pride
